Somewhere in Time!

Please enjoy doing the Somewhere in Time work found detailed for you on pages 189-190; it sounds very interesting!

Think about the key people and events in history that we have been studying as you find the named locations on a globe or map.  If you seem to have forgotten the significance of a place, return to your history cards or text to review what happened there and when it occurred.

Parents :
Use the upcoming quiz on pages 191-192 in this way to prepare them for taking it:

1) Use the right hand column of names on page 191 to review these key people we have studied: simply have your students review what these people are know for from the corresponding lessons.

2) Use the left hand column of names on page 192 to review these key people and WHERE they are from, also reminding them of why they were important to the study of history.

Please do not have the students look at or use the quiz itself, but do help your student prepare for taking it on Tuesday at school.  Thank you!
